Getting hit the mainstream together with his 90s chart party area track, Kernkraft 400 (keep in mind that?), Florian Senfter also known as Zombie Nation has since been keeping busy with releases on Turbo Tracks, Cocoon and Worldwide Deejay Gigolo Recs. When he isn’t busy going berserk around the sequencers, he’s half of ZZT with Turbo boss Tiga making complete electro-tinged party techno layered with effects or producing because the infamous John Starlight. We talk to the zombie themself by what he’ll depend on this Halloween and onwards.
Dazed Digital: How’s it dealing with Tiga included in ZZT?
Zombie Nation: It’s fun as possible hear within the songs, they capture the vibe that’s happening. First we jam around for some time, mostly within my studio in Munich, therefore we go eat some Bavarian food like Schweinebraten, White-colored Sausage as well.
DD: What’s your favourite zombie film?
Zombie Nation: Most likely George Romero’s Nights the Living Dead.
DD: Do you experience feeling any empathy for zombies or do you experience feeling they’re really just greedy bastards?
Zombie Nation: Seriously, they’re way better than humans! I’ve not heard about zombies killing creatures or burning lower forests to farm humans. Too sad that the chief purpose they serve in movies has been cheap targets. Humans could profit from Zombie understanding, like why we will never need to use the bathroom. I do not get the reason why you think vampires are smart and awesome and all sorts of that, so we zombies are looked lower upon. It isn’t fair!
DD: Your interactive project where individuals could submit or election for sounds and progression inside your tracks was awesome.. are you doing something of that nature again later on or could it have been an excessive amount of headaches?
Zombie Nation: Really I have been planning it for some time, but I’m not sure exactly when it has happened to. It will likely be a cooperation where everyone can participate the end result, much like before. It will be just like experimental, however a different approach. I will tell you more soon.
DD: What were your primary inspirations behind the brand new Air?
Zombie Nation: Maybe these insane new loudspeakers which i got within my studio? Haha. The muse originates from experimenting using the toys within my studio. It is simply happening. I am talking about you hope it’s happening, its keep it’s! And if you feel an excessive amount of about this, or attempt to analyse it, as soon as has already been gone.
DD: How would you be celebrating this Halloween?
Zombie Nation: I’ll be eating your candies!
